Matcha Ice Cream in Puff Pastry

Heiankyo 平安京茶事: Japanese Tea House

I’m seriously addicted Matcha tea! If I go to a restaurant and it offers Matcha as a flavor on anything, you know for darn sure that I’ll get my hands on it. I just love the slight bitterness that it has — kinda wakes you up. A good punch for your taste buds. Well, if you share the same love or just love desserts then try this tea house.

Heiankyo 平安京茶事: Japanese Tea House (Map, Facebook): On yet another rainy day, we met up with one of Daniel’s friends — YaoChing — and she took us to this tea house. Since we were in a middle of a typhoon, we got a table due to cancellations. I think it gets pretty busy during the weekend so remember to make reservations for this place.

I got Matcha wasted off of these:

About Linh

"I love to eat. I live to eat. I travel to eat." It only took a short amount of time for me to find out that the rat race, corporate life was not the life I want and that pushing papers was not as creatively stimulating as they advertised. As a result, I exchanged my suits for suitcases and setting on a year long journey to Southeast Asia. For each country I visit, my goal is to immerse myself in its culture and, of course, feast my way through all of its delicacies.
