Phở is, no doubt, the most famous Vietnamese noodle soup known around the world. It’s a taste of home for some and for others, it’s one of the best hangover cures after a long night out. However, not all Phở are created equally even if it’s the most common dish in Vietnam. At Phở Lệ, they have found the happy medium for their broth. You can taste the essence of the beef in the stock with the other spices like star anise and Vietnamese cinnamon. The broth is clear and light, but carries many hidden notes and fragrances from the spices. You have your choice of meat from the simple Phở Tái Bò Viên, well-done beef flank and meatballs, to the adventurous Phở Thập Cẩm, the “everything” meat bowl. Whatever you end up choosing, the flavors are exceptional and one taste will get you addicted.
